  • Google Account Information (Google Sign-In) – If you choose to sign in using Google, StreamBix receives:
    • Your Google Account ID
    • Your name
    • Your email address - This data is used strictly to create and authenticate your StreamBix account

Our services may include content and integrations from third-party platforms such as YouTube, Google, and Twitch. By using StreamBix to access or interact with YouTube content, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

1. YouTube API Services

1.0. Use of YouTube API Services and User Information

Our application uses the YouTube API Services to provide features such as generating video mixs, searching for content, and displaying video metadata. By using our services, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

1.1. Information Accessed from YouTube

When you interact with our platform, we may access and use certain types of publicly available data from YouTube, including:

  • Video titles
  • Channel names
  • Video durations
  • Video and channel metadata
  • Search results based on keywords or links provided by you

We do not access or store any private or personally identifiable information from your Google or YouTube account.

1.2. Information Collected and Stored

Depending on how you interact with the service, we may collect and temporarily store:

  • Search queries, keywords, or links provided by you are used to generate content mixs
  • Metadata from videos used to build your content timeline

This data is used solely to power core platform features like timeline generation, content discovery, and user recommendations. It is not shared with any external party.

We process the above data to:

  • Enhance content search and discovery
  • Improve user experience and service quality
  • Monitor API usage in compliance with YouTube's policies

2. Google API Services

2.1. Google Sign-In

When you sign in with Google, StreamBix receives:

  • Your Google Account ID
  • Your name
  • Your email address

This is used strictly for:

  • Account creation
  • Authentication
  • Keeping your account secure

We do notaccess any other Google account data.

2.2. Google Calendar Integration for Reminders

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, StreamBix requests the minimum permissions needed to:

  • Create calendar events
  • Update calendar events
  • Delete calendar events
  • Read metadata ONLY for events created by StreamBix

We do not access or modify any of your personal or pre-existing calendar events.

2.2.2. Why We Collect This Data

We use this access to:

  • Add reminders when a video you're interested in is scheduled
  • Keep those reminders synced with your Google Calendar
  • Maintain your connection without needing repeated re-authorization

This integration is optional.

2.2.3. How We Store and Protect Your Google Data (Security & Retention)
  • All Google access and refresh tokens are stored securely using industry-standard encryption
  • Tokens are never shared with third parties
  • Tokens are used only to communicate with Google APIs on your behalf
  • We retain tokens only as long as your integration remains active
  • If the integration is disabled or revoked, tokens become unused and will not be refreshed
  • We do not store your Google Calendar contents
2.2.4. How You Can Disconnect or Delete Google Data

You may disconnect your Google Calendar integration at any time:

2.2.4.1. From StreamBix

Disable Calendar Integration in your StreamBix reminder settings. Once disabled:

  • StreamBix immediately stops sending any requests to Google Calendar
  • Access tokens remain stored securely but are not used or refreshed
  • Events we previously created remain in your calendar unless you delete them manually
2.2.4.2. From Google Account Settings

You may revoke StreamBix's access at: Google Account → Security → Third-Party App Access

If revoked:

  • All tokens become invalid
  • StreamBix permanently loses access to your Google data
2.2.5. Compliance with Google Policies

StreamBix's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs strictly adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

This means:

  • We only request the minimum data needed to provide a feature
  • We do not use Google data for advertising
  • We do not share Google data with third parties
  • We do not sell Google data
  • Google API data is used solely to power user-facing features
